Rob Sperry had been approached by eleven different network marketing companies before he ever said yes to one.

He wasn't the obvious recruit. He was running a tennis club in Utah, studying every entrepreneur and small business magazine he could get his hands on, quietly preparing himself for something without knowing what that something was. Network marketing wasn't even on the list.

But the right person, with the right pitch, changed everything.

That person told him two things nobody else had bothered to say: this will be the hardest thing you've ever done — and someday, every day will feel like a birthday, because you'll have time freedom.

The Grind Before the Breakthrough

He quit the tennis club. Went full-time. And promptly earned less than $400 in his first five months — working over eighty hours a week to get there.

The check kept going backwards. His mentor didn't sugarcoat it: the hours weren't the problem. How he was spending them was.

That conversation was brutal. And exactly what he needed. He recommitted, tripled his volume, and never dropped back below that level. He still went through the ups and downs — everyone does — but he'd found a new floor. And he never looked for the exit again.

In his first full year in the industry, Rob reached the highest level in a multi-billion dollar company. He later co-created Mynt, a spin-off from a $3 billion company that launched with a million dollars in sales in its first month.

Not bad for a guy who used to make fun of network marketing.

From Builder to Industry Voice 🗣️

One What made Rob dangerous as a builder was the same thing that made him a great tennis coach: he could take complex things, break them down, and get people to actually move.

So when he started writing — his first book was called The Game of Networking — teams and companies started calling. Could he speak? Could he consult?

In 2016-2017, he sold his position in network marketing and committed fully to training and consulting. He's never looked back.
