At age 8, JT watched the Blue Angels fly and decided he was going to be a U.S. Navy pilot. What followed was more than a decade of rejection. The Navy turned him down six times. His football coach told him, "They wouldn't let you fly a kite, let alone a jet."
Almost everyone around him bet against him... He became a Navy pilot anyway.
JT spent over 12 years on active duty, working his way up from enlisted aircraft mechanic to combat-decorated Naval Aviator —serving in Operations Desert Storm, Enduring Freedom, and Iraqi Freedom. He'll tell you the most valuable thing he gained wasn't the wings on his chest, but the leadership experience of serving alongside extraordinary men and women, both as an enlisted sailor and as a Naval Officer.
In 2008, he left the Navy after missing his daughter Callie's first birthday while boarding a C-130 headed to Iraq. The childhood dream had become an adult trade-off he wasn't willing to keep making. He and his wife Mia —herself a fellow active duty Navy aviator —went all in on entrepreneurship.
Today JT is the CEO of Mach 1 Strategies and Consulting, with nearly two decades of experience in leadership training and performance coaching.
He joined AttractionMarketing.com because he recognized something in the network marketers who come through these programs: people with real potential, burning themselves out using strategies that don't match who they are or how the world works now.
